Joe Carlozo is the President and founder of CARLOZO & COMPANY. A CPA and graduate of
The Pennsylvania State University, he has 31 years of public accounting experience in addition to 4 years experience in private industry. Joe also has the distinction as one of the first CPAs in the country (Certificate 908) to earn the professional designation of CFP (Certified Financial Planner). As a CFP, Joe is the Managing Member of
MASTER KEY FINANCIAL SERVICES, LLC, our sister company.
Joe has considerable experience in management consulting and tax planning issues for closely held businesses and their owners. In doing so, he dedicates himself to helping our clients in attaining and coordinating their personal financial and business goals and objectives. An avid

Kristina A. Owens, CPA
Tina Owens has been with CARLOZO & COMPANY since graduating in 1995 from
Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University) with a major in Computers in Accounting. Since that time, she has earned the professional designation of CPA and works extensively in our accounting services area. Tina and her husband Ed and their son Caleb reside in York County, Pennsylvania.

Carol Beauchamp, CPA
Carol Beauchamp has worked hand-in-hand with Joe for the last 7 tax seasons. A graduate of University of Baltimore, Carol is a CPA with 18 years of public accounting experience. Carol and her husband Bryan and daughters Kimberly and Rebecca reside in Baltimore County, Maryland.

Richard A. Wagner, CPA
Rich Wagner joined CARLOZO & COMPANY full-time in January 2009. He worked the 2008 tax season on a part-time basis with Joe. Rich graduated with a major in Accounting from
James Madison University and quickly earned his CPA designation. He brings with him over 20 years of work experience including several years with a national public accounting firm. Rich, his wife Missy and their children reside in Carroll County, Maryland.

Sharon Cody, CPA
Sharon Cody, the most recent addition to Carlozo & Company, joined the firm in January 2010. Sharon has reunited working with Joe after 22 years having previously worked together for four years at Coyne & McClean, Chartered. She is a CPA with 26 years experience in public accounting with her last 10 ½ years working at a national firm. Although she has had experience in many different areas, Sharon’s expertise is in working with small businesses. Sharon, her husband Ken, and daughters Michelle and Julie reside in Baltimore County, Maryland.

Kelly M. Puig
Kelly Puig joined CARLOZO & COMPANY in 1999 as our Firm Administrator bringing with her 9 years of public accounting experience. She has an A.A. degree from
Essex Community College. In addition to her C & C administrative responsibilities, Kelly has also assisted Joe and Tina in servicing a wide spectrum of clients of our Firm. Kelly and her husband Jason and their daughter Sara reside in Harford County, Maryland.

Meghan O'Brien
Meghan O'Brien joined C&C in June 2009 as an Administrative Assistant for both our accounting services and tax departments. Previously, she worked in several customer service capacities for T. Rowe Price. A graduate of
McDaniel College with a B.A. Degree, Meg has brought with her a special spirit and enthusiasm which reflects the themes spelled out in our Mission Statement written over 20 years ago.

Joe Carlozo, Jr.
Young Joe graduated from York College of PA in 2008 with a B.S. Degree, having majored in Sport Management and minored in Marketing and Business Administration. Shortly thereafter, he traveled up to State College PA and did a 13 week internship in the athletic department at his Dad’s alma mater, The Pennsylvania State University. Joe worked for us part-time during tax season 2009, and then moved to the Raleigh-Durham area in an effort to pursue his major. He recently returned home to his roots and settled in Abingdon, MD. With Meg O’Brien visiting China in May 2010 and out for 3 weeks, Joe volunteered to fill in and has been here ever since serving as Administrative Assistant for both our accounting services and tax departments, and even helping Sr. with a project or two. Sometimes called Jr., other times “Minnie Me”, but always Joe, he has, along with Meg, brought our team a youthful enthusiasm, camaraderie and curiosity to learn.

Misha Patel
Misha Patel joined C&C in March of 2010 as an Administrative Assistant bringing with her over 20 years accounting experience for both our accounting services and tax departments. Misha and her husband Pradip and their three children Shivani, Kaaran and Reeya reside in Hampstead, Maryland.
