Ed Gerner is a 39 year veteran of the insurance industry and is an attorney. He is President of R.K. Tongue Co., is licensed as a Life & Health and Property & Casualty Insurance Broker and as an Insurance Advisor. He holds a Chartered Life Underwriter`s designation and speaks frequently on risk management and insurance to various professional groups, predominantly dentists, optometrists, accountants and attorneys. Ed is currently National Chairman of the State Administrator Advisory Board of the Professional Protector Plan. He is a past Chairman of the Board of Visitors of the University of Maryland Dental School, an Honorary Member of the University of Maryland Dental School`s Alumni Association, an Honorary Member of the Baltimore City Dental Society, a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, a member of the American Institute of Professional Association Group Insurance Administrators, and a member of the Maryland State Bar Association.
